# See A Million; Digital Literacy for One Million Persons with Vision Impairment by 2025
See A Million is a unique time bound outcome based mission focusing on digital empowerment of one million persons with vision impairment by 2025. This mission is aligned to “Digital India”, Government of India Initiative. Through this mission, stakeholders concerned will work in synergy to form a value chain, from rehabilitation to education to skilling to mainstream inclusion with the goal of enabling livelihoods of persons with vision impairment through digital empowerment.

Making Cyber Cafes Accessible for Persons with Vision Impairment | Dec 17th 2017 to Apr 30th 2018

As part of the advanced employability training at Enable India, the candidates undertook a project on "ACCESSIBLE CYBER CAFES FOR PERSONS WITH VISION IMPAIRMENT". "Why do we as visually impaired need sighted assistance at cyber cafe even though we know how to operate computers?" - This thought has lead the candidates to make 10 cyber cafes across 3 states accessible for persons with vision impairment by installing NVDA.

Enable India and Help the Blind Foundation collaborate for a Career Awareness Workshop at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi | 25th - 26th March 2018

"I want to study just like a sighted person. I want to write my exam on my own and not use a scribe" - says one of the candidates who attended the 2-day Career Awareness Workshop conducted at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on 25th and 26th March, 2018. Enable India and Help the Blind Foundation joined hands for this workshop. Conducting awareness and digital literacy in colleges, schools and universities is a great way of mainstreaming the skilling of persons with disabilities.

Enable Vision Alumni Network Workshop | 10th Mar - 11th Mar 2018

Enable Vision organized an Alumni Network Workshop, on 10th, and 11th March at Enable India. 44 Alumni attend the program. The goal of the workshop was to help the alumni in their career development and to engage them in various projects of Enable Vision. This network is part of the eco system building activity to scale up the impact of Enable Vision program for the vision impairment sector.

Enable India and Help the Blind Foundation collaborate for a Career Awareness Workshop in Pune | 13 Jan - 14 Jan 2018

"We thought tele caller jobs were the only jobs available for Vis. Now we know about some new jobs like accessibility tester" - say the candidates with vision impairment of Sri Parashuram College, Pune. Enable India and Help the Blind Foundation collaborated to conduct 2 career awareness workshops at S.P College, Pune. We reached 57 candidates (22 women and 35 men) through these workshops.
